After a 2019 loaded with collaborative efforts — including Terrace Martin (Northside of Linden, Westside of Slauson), Bodega BAMZ (Bodega’s Way), Joell Ortiz (BoxTalk) and Doja Cat (“Make That Cake“) — producer Salaam Remi released his own EP, Do It For the Culture 2, today (Jan. 3).
Led by the singles “Find My Heart” with Nas and Amy Winehouse and the original (and J. Cole-free) version of “Come Through and Chill,” the 25-track project (which collects most of Remi’s singles over the past several moons) also features appearances from Busta Rhymes, Stephen Marley, Gallant, and more. The current single is “One Time” with Akon, and that can be heard below.
