Sy Ari Da Kid Drops New Project, ‘It Was Unwritten’

blame it on Shake January 26, 2020

The last time we heard from Sy Ari Da Kid, he was detailing the five sides of a breakup on 2018’s After the Heartbreak project. Since then, he dropped two projects last year – Emancipation Proclamation and 2 Sides Of A Story with Paxquiao – that we, unfortunately, slept on.

Now, fresh off touring with Eric Bellinger, the Bronx-bred, Atlanta-raised artist is officially back in action with his new album, It Was Unwritten.

“This album is not for clout/radio,” Sy Ari says. “I did this one not only for myself and the people but for those who truly appreciate and miss that true 90’s hip hop music. When a story was being told from the soul of an artist to as soon as you hear it you feel their pain.”

Locked in at 13 tracks, the album comes equipped with contributions from Big K.R.I.T., Statik Selektah, CyHi the Prynce, T.I. and more.
