It was only a few days ago when things seemed to be going well between Hollywood’s latest couple, YG and Kehlani, after the two unveiled their first collaboration, “Konclusions.”
A bold reassurance of their love, the song signaled better days were ahead after months of ups and downs, but based off of Kehlani’s latest drop, it’s all a little too late.
Dropping “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” Kehlani calls out a former love – leaving out their name because they “don’t deserve recognition” – and addresses their breakup. Kehlani seemingly reveals that her findings during a late-night search through their phone was the final straw. Fighting the urge to handle the breakup immaturely, she finds resolve in how vulnerable and open she was in this past relationship.
