Earlier in the month G Herbo — along with members of his team — were named suspects in a $1.5 million federal fraud case, where they were accused of using fraudulent information to make high-priced purchases including private jet rentals, designer dog purchases, and much more.
Herbo has maintained his innocence throughout this ordeal, and has released the single “Statement” as a kinda-sorta rebuttal to those charges. Flipping the same Major Harris sample that The Diplomats used to perfection in “I Really Mean It,” the Chicago rapper makes references to his pending case throughout.
