Kota the Friend is on a mission to be heard.
After shining bright on last year’s Everything album, Kota resurfaced at the top of 2021 with the release of Lyrics To Go Vol. 2. And now, the Brooklyn native has teamed up with Statik Selektah for To Kill A Sunrise.
Locked in at 10 tracks, the project – which follows Statik’s latest album (The Balancing Act) and collaborations with Termanology (The Quarantine), Pro Era’s CJ Fly (Rudebwoy), and Paul Wall (Give Thanks) – includes a lone feature from Haile Supreme.
