A year after hitting us with Let It Love in 2019, Common dropped off his most recent project, A Beautiful Revolution (Pt. 1) last fall. Throughout its nine songs, listeners caught appearances from Black Thought, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, and a whole lot from singer PJ. One of those tracks she featured on was “What Do You Sy (Move It Baby)” which got a nice remix today.
Calling on Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, the updated take features a new reggae rhythm that makes the track ideal for impending summer — at least for the parts of the country (up North) that are still waiting for it to arrive.
