One of this writer’s favorite discoveries last year was South African singer, Elaine. She signed a contract with Columbia and re-released her 2019 project, Elements, last summer. The effort is definitely one you should give an ear to, but if you’d rather just dip your toe in the water, Elaine is back with a new single for you.
“Right Now” is the singer’s first effort of the year, one that will surely bring her growing fan base into the latest chapter of her career. On it, she confronts her lover for being unfaithful and mistreating her in their relationship. In the end, she opts to prioritize her career and happiness over a man who can’t seem to do anything right
