Black Thought & Danger Mouse Team Up For ‘Cheat Codes’ Album

blame it on Shake August 12, 2022

At last, Black Thought and Danger Mouse have released their highly-anticipated album, Cheat Codes.

Although they first met and started working together in 2005, the emcee/producer duo obviously had other things going at the time. Since then, following the release of The Grey Album (DM’s incredible take on Jay-Z’s The Black Album), Danger Mouse became one of the most in-demand producers and took off to space through his work with Cee-Lo Green as Gnarls Barkley. Meanwhile, Black Thought continued his work with The Roots and even became a part of the house band for The Tonight Show.

Now, following his Streams of Thought trilogy with 9th Wonder (Vol. 1), Salaam Remi (Vol. 2) and Sean C (Vol. 3), Thought is back at it with Danger Mouse.

Equipped with 12 tracks – including “No Gold Teeth,” “Because” with Joey Bada$$ and Russ, and “Strangers” with A$AP Rocky and Run the Jewels – the album also has additional features from Conway the Machine, Raekwon, and Kid Sister.

Press play and be sure to add Cheat Codes wherever you get music.
