The follow-up to his 2020 album Big Conspiracy, UK-reared musician J Hus has releases his third project BABY (Beautiful And Brutal Yard).
“I Live in a place where it’s beautiful and brutal at the same time,” Hus says when asked about the album. “I feel at home, in a place where a lot of crime and tragic things are happening. This is still home to me; it’s still beautiful to me.”
A 19-song effort, the album is anchored by the previous singles “It’s Crazy,” “Militerian,” and the Drake-guested “Who Told You,” the latter of which is on the long list for one of the songs of the summer. Alongside Aubrey the likes of Burna Boy, Popcaan, Jorja Smith, CB, Naira Marley, Villz, and Boss Belly join him throughout.
