With his forthcoming solo album, Set It Off, arriving on Oct. 13, Offset follows up “Jealousy” with the second focus track “FAN.”
“I’ve been working on this project for over two years now. This season is personal for me. It marks a new chapter in my life,” says Offset. “I feel like Michael Jackson coming from a successful group breaking records to superstardom on my own. This body of work is healing for me and a letter to my fans and supporters.”
Clearly inspired by The Gloved One (take a look at the album cover above), the visual for the track takes cues from both the late legend’s videos for “Thriller” (shout out to Paige “Lauren Baldwin” Hurd) and “Smooth Criminal.” There’s… a lot going on in this clip, I’ll say that much.
