As she puts the finishing touches on her long-awaited debut album (which she promises will arrive at the “top of 2024”), Tierra Whack shares her latest focus track “Chanel Pit.”
“I have a lot of music stacked, but it’s something about anytime I would play that song for people, their eyes would just light up,” Whack says to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I mean, I felt the same way, but just to get the reaction of friends and family, strangers, and it just feels so special to me. I actually was in the mosh pit. I was going crazy, just having fun. So yeah, it has to be a personal experience. I have to really be affected by it, good or bad.”
