This weekend, I took my recluse ass down to Minneapolis to take in Soundset 2012 (pictures coming soon) and it was well worth the trip. Brother Ali handled the hosting duties (and rocked the afterparty at First Avenue) and P.O.S had the entire crowd dancing around like crazy people. It’s been known that both artists have much anticipated albums on the horizon, but dates were missing. Now, there’s no mystery as both emcees let the cats out the bag. Brother Ali’s Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color (which is entirely produced by Jake One) will arrive on August 21st, followed by P.O.S’ We Don’t Even Live Here on September 18th. Add those to the release of Aesop Rock’s Skelethon on July 10th and Rhymesayers Ent is holding it DOWN this Summer.
