As Mpire and Doze the Drumdealer prepare to drop the new cultural joint venture Narcotechs, they lead the way with a gritty visual. In “New Day” — the intro and first record off the album, Doza the Drumdealer samples the famous piece “Ave Maria” over a hard hitting boom-bap drum scheme complimented by an original bass line and dark pianos, while delivering a hook with an honest depiction of past exploits. Dax and Ark deliver poignant and scathing verses both reminiscent of the cultures origin while bringing a new and refreshing sound. Both verses are packed with aggression honesty and wit. Narcotechs will be released summer 2016.
