Since bursting onto the scene with her anti-social anthem “Here, Toronto-reared upstart Alessia Cara ultimately got a co-sign from a fellow Canadian when she covered his own hit song “Hotline Bling.” With her debut EP, Four Pink Walls, arriving August 28th, a pair of tracks from the project: “Outlaws” and “Seventeen.” While “Seventeen” is clearly the “pop charts” grabber, but the sound on “Outlaws” sounds inspired by Amy Winehouse. I’m interested in hearing what she has next. UPDATE: I didn’t have to wait much longer, as Alessia has unveiled – via her YouTube page – the entire Four Pink Walls project in its entirety.
