Jillian Hervey and Lucas “Astro Raw” Goodman, better known as LION BABE, have made an enduring impact as one of today’s most talented duos. With Lucas’ electric funk-drenched backdrops merging with Jillian’s husky and soul-fueled bravado, the duo have created waves since the release of their 2014 self-titled EP.
LION BABE will now release their long-in-the-works debut album, titled Begin, on February 5th. The album is highlighted by the previous singles “Wonder Woman,” “Jump Hi” and “Treat Me Like Fire.” While the two have revealed that, alongside Pharrell, they have worked with Q-Tip, one can hope that their collaboration lands on the 14-track LP.
