Returning with music for the first time since dropping his debut album, Daymares, in March, WebsterX shares “Everfeel.”
The Milwaukee rapper says “Everfeel” a song “to end your summer,” and it’s matched by an overall wholesome energy. It’s sounds like a large exhale after going through a turbulent couple months, but as the song progresses, it builds into its own fury. “She saw my demon, too/don’t worry ’bout it” he repeats as symbols crash and guitars wail behind Webster’s punkish vocals. After an album that required a lot of attention to delve through, “Everfeel” is an enjoyable — albeit sometimes narcotic — return.
