With it being twenty years following his tragic passing, various television networks are starting to release specials on the life and times of The Notorious B.I.G.
A&E announced that it would produce two documentaries on both fallen rappers: Who Killed Tupac? and Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G., respectively. While Who Killed Tupac? — which will be a mammoth, six-hour mini-series — is slated to air in the fourth quarter of 2017, Biggie debuted on Labor Day (September 4th).
Biggie was a two-hour special, which included appearances from JAY-Z, Nas, 2 Chainz, Mike WiLL Made It, T-Pain, Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace and others. The documentary also featured previously unheard audio and visual interviews from The Notorious B.I.G. as well.
While the full documentary is now available on-demand via A&E, a few highlights can be seen below.
