With a new project (and then some) slated to arrive later in 2018, LION BABE offer up a new groove with “The Wave.”
Also featuring Leikeli47, the follow-up to “Honey Dew” debuted on the radio show of Beats 1’s Annie Mac as “The Hottest Record in the World.” LION BABE will also perform “The Wave” on BET’s The Rundown on April 5th.
A stone groove, the track derives inspiration from 70s and 80s disco and funk sounds. Ahead of their debut at Coachella later in April, the track can be heard below.
Perhaps one of 2024’s early “song of the summer” contenders?
