Making the best out of a situation the world and other beings have put us in, the 2020 BET Awards have continued as planned with just a few minor changes. Abiding by social distancing rules, the award show can only be livestreamed and includes pre-recorded award announcements and performances.
Still early into the show, Megan Thee Stallion, who had five nominations, earned with first win for Best Female Hip-Hop Act. Drake leads the way with six nominations while Roddy Ricch and DaBaby follow suit with five and four nominations respectively.
