New York-based artist Jared Evan surprised us at the beginning of June with an album, The Art Form of Whatever, and since, he’s released a couple videos promoting the album with “Bad Guy” and “The Art Form.” Evan’s latest visual for “Home” continues the push.
The video follows Evan on a contemplative walk up a dimly lit staircase shot in one continuous take. The cool part is, it’s recorded on an LG cell phone by Rik Cordero. Though there aren’t any crazy angles or long shots taken, the quality is supreme. Cell phone camera technology is crazy. How much more fun would the “Tip Drill” video have been if it were all raw, high-quality cell phone footage?
