Virginia emcee Max Fullard is joined by homies D.R.A.M. and Gabe Niles for the ambitious, reminiscent, muddled cut, “1999.”

Both emcees remember the desperate times of 1999 and recognize how much life has changed since then. Later in life, Fullard had to do what was necessary in order to help him and his mother survive, but way back in ’99, he was just a rebel child, living life pretty carefree. D.R.A.M. adds to the innocence of ’99, realizing that his lungs were clean and he wasn’t trying to cop Benadryl at the store to catch a little high back then. But D.R.A.M. wants to put that life behind him, as he finishes his verses, “I remember ’99, but fuck living in the past and fuck a daily 9-to-5.” Just live.
