The collaborations from Virginia natives DP and D.R.A.M. are akin to the collaboration between cookie butter and Nutella: it’s among the best of both worlds. With the former Gat King Cole’s new project, Designer Casket, arriving on November 11th, the two team up again over some sinister Ducko McFli production, “For The Love Of.”
With D.R.A.M. warning listeners about the wolves that lie outside the safe confines of the home, DP delivers his trademark dark bars over the hauntingly ominous backdrop. The two’s chemistry seems to improve with each song, and “For The Love Of” is another clear sign of their cohesiveness.
