Outside of Curren$y and a few others, there aren’t many artists out there that put in work like Future.

After dropping Monster in October of 2014, the ATLien steamrolled through 2015 with two more mixtapes (Beast Mode, 56 Nights), a new album (DS2), and What A Time To Be Alive with Drake.

With a year like that, many would kick back and try to enjoy some of the success—but, not Future.

He kicked off 2016 with Purple Reign, and not even a week into February, the Freebandz rep is back with another one. Announced just three days ago, EVOL has arrived!

Apart from “Low Life” with The Weeknd, Mr. Hendrix floats solo throughout the ten-track offering (11, including bonus track, “Fly Sh*t Only“), over production from Metro Boomin, Southside, and more.

Originally planned to premiere on DJ Khaled’s debut show on Beats 1, but his voice was causing too many headaches, so Apple Music green lit the release early—thank gawd.

Now, about the artwork… similar to DS2 and WATTBA, EVOL‘s cover art was being called out for being another stock image. Feeling the need to disprove the rumors, the press release for the album included a breakdown of the art acquisition.

For the artwork, Future tapped the talents of visionary Polish photographer Szymon Świętochowski and the Ars Thanea creative team. His original piece, entitled “The Ash,” now serves as the cover for EVOL, reflecting the emotions and energy of the music.

Ars Thanea publications states, “The entire Ars Thanea creative team and our friend photographer Szymon Świętochowski couldn’t be more thrilled to take part in the newest release of Future’s album ‘EVOL.’ Before the release we worked closely with Sony/Epic Records team on licensing of the “The Ash” image that now is officially revealed as a Cover Art. We believe that our visual is a perfect fit for the entire production and we wish nothing but the best for Future and his upcoming release. Keep rocking and we look forward to working with Future on further creative projects!
PS. This is not a stock image… ;-)”

… ok.
