Cousin Stizz – “Living Like Khaled”

blame it on Patrick Glynn August 30, 2016

Cousin Stizz takes no breaks.

He recently appeared on a remix of Robb $tone’s “Chill Bill” (the No. 1 song on Meka’s playlists for the last couple weeks); which came just a month after he released his second project in 12 months, MONDA; which came a couple months after a stretch of singles at the beginning of the year that bore songs like “Super Bowl” and “Gain Green“; which came a couple months after the project that got the whole thing jumpstarted, Suffolk County.

With all the hard work and acclaim surrounding him, he’s naturally living at an elevated height of fame. He summarized the feeling on his new song, “Living Like Khaled.”

Just like DJ Khaled, Stizz always seems to be calling on “another one,” whether it be another woman, another wire transfer to his bank account or, in this case, another song. But the outward appreciation for his newfound riches comes from the fact he came from “rubble.”
