In a random Q&A on Twitter Monday afternoon, Kaytranada revealed he has collaborations with Chance the Rapper (Kay produced “All Night” from Coloring Book) and Freddie Gibbs (“My Dope House“). He also said he’s recorded with SZA, hopefully for her new album that was originally planned to come out earlier this month.

The Canadian producer said his work with Chance the Rapper is in Chano’s hands. “Still waiting on brother Chance the Rapper to send me the vocal parts,” he replied.

He also revealed that he nearly worked with the Gorillaz. He recently deleted the tweet, but he said he was contacted by the group but then it went nowhere after the first phone call. “I was supposed to [work with the Gorillaz], they hit me up one time and I didnt hear back from them again,” Kay revealed. He may have deleted the tweet to not try and sour any relationship he could have with the group.

Whoever Kaytranada works with, it’ll undoubtedly get a listen now. He’s recently worked with Goldlink, BADBADNOTGOOD and Kali Uchis after releasing two projects, 99.9% and 0.001%, this year.
