With FUTURE (the album) still fresh in the speakers, Future (the artist) returns a week later with its companion piece: HNDRXX.

Like last week, Future spoke with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 about his second album in two weeks. When asked about the difference between the two, Future said “HNDRXX is super personal.”

“This is the ‘Honest’ album I was supposed to be honest about,” he continued, referring to his sophomore album from 2014. “I was just using [Honest] as a title, instead of being honest in the music. This is me opening up.”

Locked in at 17 tracks, HNDRXX comes equipped with features from Rihanna and The Weeknd and definitely falls in line with the early reports of it being “more Rhythmic-leaning and radio-friendly” than FUTURE.
