GoldLink‘s debut album, 2015’s And After That, We Didn’t Talk, was a straight groove. So much so, that the DMV-reared eclectic started noticing that his unique sound was being coopted by other artists.

Perhaps that’s the underlying theme behind his sophomore effort, At What Cost. A 14-track effort, Gold calls upon the likes of Wale (“SummaTime“), Kaytranada (“Meditation“), Shy Glizzy Jefe Shy Glizzy (“Crew“), Mýa, Jazmine Sullivan and others. Because, if someone’s gonna take his style, he’s going to want his 700% as well.
