The finale of Gorillaz’s new album Humanz is the empowering “We Got The Power,” which leaves an album full of partying, gloom, terror and worry with a sense of hope at the end.
Albarn and crew have now taken the song, which features Jehnny Beth and D.R.A.M. and Noel Gallagher on backing vocals, to The Graham Norton Show in Albarn’s home country of England. Though the energetic tune doesn’t start that way in the live format, it builds to its explosive and bullish ending. (They even have someone playing a gong. That’s commitment to a live performance.)
