London-based singer-rapper Angel finds himself back at the DopeHouse after a two-year absence. Since his 2015 appearance (“On the Low” remix), Angel—who has drawn comparisons to the likes of Tory Lanez and Future—has gone on to release a new EP called Her last year, having been streamed over 2.5 million times.
Last year, Angel was taken under the wings of Swizz Beatz and signed a deal with Motown Records. With his rise to fame rapidly ascending, Angel revisits his EP, dropping off a video for his single “Tongue Song,” which also samples and interpolates portions of Sisqo‘s “Thong Song.”
