The 43rd season of Saturday Night Live kicked off with a bang, with host Ryan Gosling and musical guest JAY-Z. Making his fourth solo appearance on the show and first since 2010, we had a bunch of questions.
Will there be a Moonlight/La La Land reference involving Jay and Ryan? Will Jay appear in a sketch? Most importantly, what will Jay perform from his new album?
We’ll let you watch the show to get the first two answers. For the performance, Jigga took to the Studio 8H stage rocking a ‘Colin’ Kaepernick jersey to perform “BAM” with Damian Marley. He then returned with a more stripped down performance of the 4:44 title-track.
