Returning to the scene (perhaps, with a gangsta lean?) after a brief break in the action, Fashawn bounced back with his Manna EP. While short, a highlight from the project was his self-titled heatrock produced by the legendary Large Professor.
Fashawn’s “Fashawn” now gets a matching set of visuals, which comes as the Fresno emcee celebrates his birthday today (October 19th). “This video is special to me for so many reasons,” he says. “It’s been a dream of mine to work with Large Professor on a record, but when he actually showed up for the shoot I was shocked. Couldn’t have had a better tour guide through Queens, NY that day. What’s even more special is that it’s being released on my birthday and I’ve made it to yet another year. Today I have a whole lot more than just my birthday to celebrate.”
