After ending his deal with Atlantic last month, Wale has been fairly active, letting loose a couple songs,“All Star Break Up” and “Staying Power,” for the fan’s enjoyment. Enjoying his own newfound freedom, Wale surprised fans and with a surprise EP, titled It’s Complicated.
Wale took to Twitter to announce the EP before releasing it. The DMV rapper described it as a “story about “a” love life… in the midst of figuring out to “go next”.” Four songs in total, the EP includes a lone feature from R&B singer Jacquees. It’s Complicated serves as Wale’s first project since last year’s SHiNE.
