As everyone expected, Kendrick Lamar will hold the #1 spot on Billboard this week with his new album, To Pimp A Butterfly.
On top of breaking Drake’s single-day streaming record with 9.6 million, beating himself the next day with 9.8M, and receiving high praise from just about every publication there is, TPAB marks Kendrick’s first #1 album with 324,403 sold. If you remember, gkmc debuted #2 with 242k sold in it’s opening week.
