As announced a few weeks ago, JAY Z is headlining an exclusive concert in New York City called B-Sides.

The live event, which kicks off this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at 9PM EST ties in with the newly launched music streaming service TIDAL – which will compete with services like Spotify and Beats Music. And despite TIDAL’s struggles – the show must go on.

Hov will perform a list of songs from his catalog that he rarely plays at his shows – hence the concert’s name, B-Sides (because every real Hip-Hop head knows the “B-Side Wins Again“).

You can stream it here now – regardless if you’ve got a membership or not.

SHAKE UPDATE: Grand opening, grand closing. Memphis Bleek, Freeway and Jeezy came out. Young Gunz. Jay Electronica. BEANIE SIGEL. It was a solid show, for sure! At this very moment (9:38pm PST), a replay is currently available here, but I’m not sure if it will be a continuous loop or just a one off. Either way, the setlist can be seen below and, if you missed it (or wanna see it again), be sure to tune in tomorrow for the second show.

Hov also took some time out to kick a freestyle that included Freddie Gray, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin shouts, jabs at YouTube/Spotify, and a few other notables lines. Check it out via YouTube below – but don’t expect it to stay up long.
