Arima Ederra has frequented the DopeHouse often over the past handful of years, appearing on songs with Blu, JMSN and many more. The Cali songstress is gearing up to release Temporary Fixes “soon,” and it’ll be nice to finally get a project from the woman who’s soulfully graced songs from herself and so many others. Today, Ederra returns with an ode to Mos Def in the form of “The Boogie Man Song” — paying homage to the soon-to-be-retired rapper’s “Boogie Man.”

“The Boogie Man Song” has Ederra painting Mos Def lyrics across Swarvy’s jazzy, soothing production. “Feed me, fuck me, love me, touch me,” she sings, interpolating the lyrics her own blissful, lighthearted way. Temporary Fixes has been in the works for a couple years up to this point, and “The Boogie Man Song” is just another reason to get amped to see her display her talents across a full-length project.
