Milwaukee resident Wave Chapelle is one of many young up and comers from the area, from IshDARR and the CCM crew, WebsterX, Reggie Bonds, BankX and many more. Over the course of the year, Chapelle has delivered a slew of loosies, including the basketball-themed “Let’s Win” with IshDARR. (Basketball-themed tracks almost always get a look from me, and this one turned out pretty well, too.)
Today, the “Lately” rapper returns with a new mixtape, W — named after what he hopes to rack up with the project: wins. in addition to IshDARR, W has one feature from Yung Satori and is mostly produced by Maajei Vu, which I’m going to chalk up as a twist on Majin Buu. It makes things more fun.
