If an album doesn’t have a concrete release date, one of the best parts of the promotional run pre-album is when an announces a list of tour dates because it helps you get an idea of around when said artist’s album is going to drop.
It’s worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Danny Brown earlier this year. Both artists albums did or will come out within a week or two of their respective tours starting. Now hopefully we can say the same about Sampha.
Starting in the middle of October, the British singer/producer will perform at one location in London before hitting seven dates across North America. Not only is this Sampha’s first headlining tour, we can also be pretty confident his debut album, Process, will arrive around when the tour starts — October 12 — just less than a month away.
