Blu & Fa†e first came together back in 2013 on the San Diego producer’s debut album, The Night Bus Home. Fast forward a couple more collaborations and three years later, the two join again — this time on a full-length project called Open Your Optics To Optimism.

The album is eight tracks long and has features from Open Mike Eagle and Milo (“Oblivia“), Versis and Dolphin (“Otionography“), Choker, Sene, ScienZe and Cehryl. There’s a bonus track — a remix to the original “UFO” on the project — featuring DopeHouse favorite Khary.

We interviewed the pair about the album, and Blu said he “found myself in outer space and under water” after hearing Fa†e’s production, which are some of the most experimental beats Blu has ever rapped over.

Stream the album, out via EveryDejaVu, below on Bandcamp, where you can cop the project, too.
