Once Kid Cudi exits rehab (and is hopefully better and in more control of his depression), we should get his new album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’.
The promotion, though, hasn’t stopped over the course of the month, as he drops a visual for the second single from the album, “Surfin’.”
The video is a stark 180-degree turn from “The Frequency.” Cudi calls on A$AP Rocky, Jaden and Willow Smith, King Chip and more to party in a dimly lit, psychedelic room to the upbeat, fist-pounding production provided by Pharrell as Cudi happily chants he’s on a separate wave than other artists in the music industry.
