In September, Desiigner was arrested and charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor gun and drug charges, including criminal possession of a loaded weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
The felony gun charge was dropped a couple days after the initial arrest. 2DopeBoyz reported Desiigner wasn’t holding a gun, and it turned out the only drug in the car was steroids, which were prescribed to someone in the car.
Now Desiigner has been cleared of all the charges — both felony and misdemeanor. The District Attorney’s office didn’t drop the charge, but the case was rather dismissed, according to TMZ. Either way, Desiigner won’t face any sort of punishment.
His attorneys told TMZ, “we’re happy he’s been exonerated.” As are we.
