André 3000 has a new 9-to-5, and it doesn’t involve making music… again.

After appearing on a myriad of tracks throughout 2016 — including Solange, Travi$ Scott and Kid Cudi among others — and directing Divine Council’s “Decemba” video, 3 Stacks has taken a position with Tretorn, a Swedish footwear and outerwear brand that has been around for over 100 years.

According to WWD Nick Woodhouse, president and chief marketing officer of Authentic Brands Group (which purchased Tretorn in 2016) personally tapped André to be an “an influencer of sorts.”

“It was very serendipitous,” Woodhouse said. “We wanted to work with Andre because he resonates with all ages and he’s an OG. He’s not a flavor of the month. There are a lot of terrific, young influencers out there, but Andre is established. These young kids are reaching out to him to collaborate. That’s why we did this.”

With his new title, Dre will will appear in Tretorn’s global Fall campaign for fall, and will design a collection of footwear for the company in 2018.

For those asking; yeah, still no album. But Big Boi may be able to fill that void in the near future…
