A middle finger to the fakes.

As I said earlier this month, Locksmith has been one of our favorite emcees since he made his DopeHouse debut in 2009. Since 2011, he’s released at least one new project every year—including I Am Lock mixtape and Embedded album with Ski Beatz in 2011, Labyrinth (2012), The Green Box (2013), A Thousand Cuts (2014), Lofty Goals (2015), and last year’s The Lock Sessions. And on March 31st, he’ll be releasing his next album, Olive Branch.

Following a video for the racially-charged “Agenda,” the Bay Area lyricist returns with a video for the Kato-produced “Nobody” — which finds him in an abandoned church rattling off rhymes about his come-up, dodging fakes in the industry, and his aspiration to further his career.

Check out the Jesse Ray Diamond-directed video below and pre-order Olive Branch on iTunes.

As a bonus, Lock also released the first episode of a behind-the-scenes series that will document the creative process behind the album.
