Drake Shares ‘More Life’ Release Date

blame it on JES7 March 11, 2017

In late October, Drake revealed a new project titled More Life was in the works.

Announced on a special edition of OVO Sound Radio, the Toronto star disclosed the project would play out as “a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life.” More than an actual album, adding that the playlist would contain “all original music” and a chance that you “might hear some tunes from the family on there.”

Originally slated to drop in December, the project has suffered a few delays which we’re gonna boil down to Drake not wanting to compete for another No. 1 album. First Future dropped albums back to back. And then last week, after Drake himself posted a note with a March 4 release date, fans were left empty handed (blame Ed Sheeran releasing his album).

Now, with only Rick Ross to compete with, Drake has unveiled the official date for his long-awaited More Life playlist: March 18th.
