The somber tone of NorCal Nick‘s music continues on his latest song, “the world forgetting, by the world forgot,” which tries to channel the massive responsibility of the hope of humanity on wax.
“Were movin’ as a body and the body’s at odds,” he hums over the looping sample from Through & Through. Nick recognizes the world seems like it wants to move in a forward direction, but there are too many forces pulling it backward. But hey, at least if the world burns, we’ll burn together.
