After 2 Chainz made an appearance on The View last week, Chance the Rapper stopped by to talk to Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and the rest of the panel.

The interview started immediately with Goldberg asking Chance about what he thought about the racist vandalism of LeBron James’ Los Angeles home. “It’s kind of a common pattern in America’s history,” Chance said about the common occurrence of people trying to tear down successful black men.

The rest of the eight-minute segment saw Chano discussing his philanthropic ways, the issues of gun violence in Chicago that start with the city’s segregation and systemic racism problems and winning a couple GRAMMYs as an independent artist.
