With Paranoia pumpin’ out of speakers worldwide, Dave East is making the rounds on the interview tip. Earlier today, he hit The Breakfast Club. But if you’re like me, you want an indeph discussion that really digs in to the artist without all the gossip talk and mainstream nonsense. Luckily, Hard Knock TV got ahold of East, they linked at Truth Studios and the conversation was sparked.
In the first part of their lengthy sit-down, Dave East opens up about his childhood and growing up in Harlem. He talks about his love for story telling and how Styles P and Biggie (his favorite rappers) were who inspired it. Closing out, East speaks on the dramatic change from being a hoop star on a college campus one night to an inmate in a Baltimore jail the next.
