Vinyl sales have experienced a resurgence in the last few years. More than 3.2 million LPs were sold in 2016, a rise of 53% compared to 2015 and the highest number since 1991, and that momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Because of this uptick, many classic albums have been reissued in the vintage format but updated for the ’99 and the 2000. The latest to receive this update is the seminal debut album from The Notorious B.I.G., Ready To Die. In conjunction with Vinyl Me, Please (VMP), who is making the album their Record Of The Month for September, Ready To Die will be re-serviced for the first time in a decade as a re-mastered double LP with one red vinyl with white and black splatter and one white vinyl with red and black splatter.

The well-known “baby” cover will have red metallic foil and embossed text, and the album will include a 12×12 art print by Bráulio Amado.

Those who sign up for VMP’s vinyl subscription service will receive the album.
