Meyhem Lauren & DJ Muggs Drop ‘Gems From the Equinox’ Album

blame it on Shake October 26, 2017

Although many will recognize Meyhem Lauren from his ongoing roles in Action Bronson’s plethora of shows, the Queens spitter is no stranger to putting a hurting on a mic.

And with last year’s Piatto D’Oro still in rotation, he’s back in action with Gems From the Equinox, a joint project alongside legendary West Coast producer, DJ Muggs.

Released on a day alongside albums from Big K.R.I.T., Yo Gotti, Snoop Dogg and Ty Dolla $ign, Meyhem Lauren and DJ Muggs’ Gems From the Equinox is by far the most street-oriented of the bunch—and we are absolutely here for it.

Locked in at 11 tracks, including “Street Religion” with Roc Marciano, the album boasts features from Bronson, Sean Price, Conway, Benny the Butcher, Mr. MFN eXquire, B-Real and Hologram. And with song titles like “War Drums,” “Redrum,” “Aquatic Violence” and “Murder Rap,” there shouldn’t be a doubt about what you’re about to hear.
