After a successful 2017, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is looking to keep things rolling into the new year.
“In 2017, my daughter Melody was born, my first big record ‘My Sh*t‘ went platinum, ‘Drownin‘ went double platinum, and my debut album The Bigger Artist was certified gold,” A Boogie says. “In total, I had six records go either gold or platinum and none of it would have been possible without you [the fans].”
To kick things off, the HighBridge rep comes through with a video for another The Bigger Artist single, “Say A.”
Directed by Michael Garcia, the video combines live-action with animation as A Boogie evades the police in a high-speed chase that’s televised throughout the city.
On top of the video, A Boogie also took to Instagram to share a list of artist he wants to work with in the future—including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Future, 50 Cent, and others.
“I am always looking to better myself and for 2018 I want to get better at reaching out to my fellow Artists in order to give the fans great music,” he says. “So here’s a list of people I would like to work with in 2018. I am putting it in the universe and hoping that this message leads to more great music and a better 2018!”
