First, the bad.
Thanks to negotiations breaking down between the two companies, all television channels under the Starz and Encore umbrella on the Altice USA cable systems went dark at the top of the new year.
In layman’s terms: those that use Optimum as their cable provider (which is, like, 75% of Brooklyn alone, it seems) won’t get POWER unless these two entities get out of their heads and figure something out. 50 Cent has spoken out against the problems, even claiming that it is slowing production on the show itself.
Regardless, Curtis stopped by the late-night desk of Stephen Colbert last night (Jan. 4) to speak on his upcoming film Den Of Thieves. He also spoke — and joked — about how Sharon Osborne “gave” him the “Fiddy Cent” moniker, how 50 is different from Curtis Jackson, the legacy of his “beefs,” and more. Who knew that he invested in Casper mattresses?
They also show a preview of Den Of Thieves, which hits theaters on January 19th.
